fuel pressure on JRSC type R

Does anyone know what my fuel pressure should be on my JRSC type R? At this moment I have a base line fuel pressure at idel at 40psi. At max throttle it jumps to around 90-94psi. I currently have a Endyne/Bosche out of tank fuel pump, and a Cartech 2005 FPR. I unhooked my VAFC due to problems. With it disconnected I can feel a drop in power. On the dyno my car reads very rich above 7000rpms. Would dropping my fuel pressure aid in dropping my top end fuel curve? Currently my low end fuel curve (0-7000rpms) is fine. Any thoughts? Rich at Comptech recommend that I never go above 80psi max with stock injectors. Is this true?

Mike,

Your fuel pressure should be in the 28-46 psi range. However, that is a stock car. With large fuel pumps and the Cartech FMU your fuel pressures will be much higher. I was seeing 85 psi when I hit 6 psi with my JR regulator. I know the tegs have seen even higher fuel pressures depending on the fuel pump.
